There is a guy (don't remember his name) here in Clearlake CA that went and
bought an old fire engine truck from the Santa Rosa fire department. He would bring it the
the weekly hangout for the car club and on parades. One of those - are you kidding me things?????

i was doing a course with the boxster on a track designed for teaching safety. The track had simulated ice (resin coated road with water), wet areas, skid pads, etc.

there was some training going on there that involved some big articulated buses, the kind with the two cabins, three axles, and an accordion section in the middle, skidding on water. THAT was impressive.
