Front hood latch...anyone have trouble with hood not staying latched?

It seems like maybe just an adjustment to the latch catch, but I noticed there is no longer a "click" when I close the front hood. The hoodt has always been a little stiff to close, but now no click and with pressure, it quietly latches, then disengages after a few minutes of driving. I don't think it is the releasing via switch engagement, which I have had issues with in the past and cleaned out the switches located on the driver door well with forced air. Any ideas? Maybe just a simple adjustment?
