Agreed, the name seems ill-suited for automotive tire;I guess Sears thinks there is merit in trying to capitalize on a battery introduced 40+ years ago.
Maybe they're trying to market it to the electric car market?winking smiley
"DieHard" makes sense as a brand name for a battery, not so much for a tire? How about, "FlatHard" or "BaldHard"... never mind.
