I know a number of us having been awaiting Chris' review. I think he pretty much nailed it.
Funny/interesting story - I was talking recently with a married couple who had just bumped into a friend of theirs who was driving her DB9. In the course of describing the car to me, each half of the couple mentioned, at least 3 times, the wonderful sound the DB9 makes.
But what's funny is on a number of occasions, I'd lamented to them the demise of the flat 6 in the Boxster, and specifically, the great loss of its sonorous motor. Their response was essentially, 'much ado about nothing'.
You can be sure I pointed out to them the extent to which they raved about the DB9's sound. I doubt very much it has anything on the NA flat-6 at full song.
