I drove my track car to Trade Joe's last night, and returned to my house the slightly long way.
Parked, went in, did a few chores, and took the garbage out. As i opened the door I heard a voice "Grant!". A moment later "Its Gary".
One of the NNJR-PCA members, sometimes AXer and Track guy, and neighbor (about 1/2+ mile away) had been out for an evening walk. He heard a
"great sounding flat six growl by" and decided to walk up to my house (he knew from Porscheforus that this project was under way). Apparently it sounds very good to passers-by; its harder to tell from n the cockpit, although I'm pleased.
A nice side benefit.
