Who knows source, part number or other pointer for me to get a simple plastic dash blank to go in the hole where the radio came out of a 986?

One with, ideally, 3 holes in it for standard (1 /7/8"???) round VDO gauges.

JC Whitney or Summit Racing mat have one you can adapt.

I don't remember the parts catalog having anything like that..... they used that standard "cubby' as the no-option item for unused slots. Items that did go in there, and were interchangable, were CD slot thingy, radio, Bose digital control (first think I ripped out of there), and the cubby.... not sure what else they had.

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
