I was in the auction tent when the 917 went on the block. Earlier in the week, attended a Gooding auction area tour led by David Gooding and Keith Martin (Sports Car Market magazine fame). Got a chance to visit the Canepa museum and restoration shop. A great week for car enthusiasts.

a 2017 Turbo S at the Porsche Zentrum (At the Quail Lodge). Couldn't tell it had a rear engine. Amazing car!
