Products for your Boxster, Cayman and Carrera.
Going to purchase a set of 4 rims and tires (toyo R1R's) to use at the track. They are 18" wheels from a mid 2000's Cayman. I've only got my Jetta tonight... I am thinking they will fit. The seller is 2 hrs away, but we've made plans to meet halfway.
Anyone else have experiences shoehorning 4 wheels and tires in the back of a sedan (the rear seats fold down, and I think that will help a bit...)

... don't fit.
VW Jettas have a 5x100 or 5x112 wheel bolt pattern.
Caymans and Boxsters and Carreras have 5x130.
Happy Porsche'ing,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
Sorry, I'm not using them in the Jetta, I'm going to pick them up in the Jetta... Hopefully they fit in the back seat and trunk to take home.

When I did autocrossing, I would remove the passenger seat in my Nissan 300ZX and use that space to hold two wheels/tires.
fold the seats down,

2.25 wheels with tires in the trunk
1.75 wheels in the backseat area...

lots of room.

Is it possible to host pics at PBB yet?
I recall taking my wheels in for new tires. I recall standing them vertically in the rear seat.

I don't recall what car I was using though.
