I hope to graduate to stickier tires soon for the track, and I've been told by a couple people to look at baffles for my oil pan to prevent oil starvation on high G corners...

Looking for links or product suggestions, or DIY options....

Thanks,

Baffles by themselves will not prevent oil starvation in an 986/987 running on track tires.
You will need supplemental equipment, such as an Accusump.

are toyo R1R tires from 2015/2016 considered R comp tires?

(These tires came with the rims I bought are in good condition, lots of tread left)
Deep sumps with baffles, especially mine, help but will not totally avoid oil starvation with R-compound tires.
I must note that a slow driver even with stickies may not cause oil starvation. We're talking very fast drivers on long, sustained sweepers that generate at least 1G lateral.
That's why you should supplement with an Accusump and then forget about the issue.
