Tire Rack: Revolutionizing tire buying since 1979.

Expect the best, and accept no substitute.
It seems my Sears brand trickle charger/maintainer has died (or at least my battery did). It was probably $25 when I bought it.

I have a 2000 Boxster and use the cig lighter adapter for charging in the winter.

Can someone suggest a "good or good enough" charger?

I'm reading good/bad on the CTEC and variable on lots of others, but a lot of the postings are several years old. The CTEK US3300 w/cig plug adapter is about $65 on Amazon. Price is fine, but I'd like to get the 'best' one in the price range or spend less and get comparable. I'm really not in favor of spending $100 on this 'cause I'm cheap.

Thanks for your 2019 suggestions

Andrew
The CTEK US3300 works great for me since 2007.
Just lately my brother in law drained his battery by accident and he tried to recharge it with his Black & Deck "maintainer" ... no luck.
So I plugged my The CTEK US3300 overnight and presto recharged battery.
