Hello everyone, well I got the old gal out on the road again and it sure is nice. I forgot how nice it was to drive this car. I do have an issue though, I turned on my ac and noticed little pieces of grey foam on the passenger seat. I looked at the vents and noticed large chunks of grey foam behind the air vents. They were behind all four vents. I picked out most of it and vacuumed the rest. My question is what is this from and how worried should I be? The AC works fine though.

Back to doing the chop again. lol

TIA

That is the foam lining of the HVAC system, which has dried out and is flaking off. It will continue for a very long time and it's a fair amount of work (but possible) to remedy. You have to take apart the system and remove it. Or you can just let it happen. There's no risk to anything.
thanks for the piece of mind. smileys with beer

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
