Hi, Thinking of doing a 996 cluster upgrade on my 99 boxster base. Will this basically be plug and play with exception of oil press switch and mileage? I'm hearing different stories about reprogramming and enabling the volt and oil press.gauges and needed yout original key codes. I found a 2001 c2 cluster(same colors on the plugs) thanks v

Note also that it's possible to save the $? recoding and $200 mileage reprogramming cost by reprogramming the cluster yourself. Requires good electronics knowledge though.
