Happy Holidays all! I’ve been using the below Porsche battery maintainer for several years with my Boxster and then now I’m using it with my 911. I liked it so much, I bought a second (used from eBay) to help my mom keep her Benz’s battery topped up (as she only drives maybe once a week). This should work for any car as long the lighter socket is live when the car is off, right)? And yeah, I know the newer CTEK ones are better cause they have more functions, but I like this one for my mom as she’s older and this one is just plug in (with no switch options), so easier to use. Thanks!

You are correct. As long as it fits the socket making correct contact and the socket is live at all times it should work properly in any vehicle with a 12 volt system.
