Hi,

Does anyone know of a site that will tell me if an oil filter fits my '01 S what other 911's this would fit as well? My brother has a friend and has a bunch of oil and fuel filters and wanted to know if I wanted them. I asked what year and sub-model he had, but my brother did not know. So does anyone know of a site that would tell me?

Thanks,

Michael

Still driving my '01 S daily.
Oil filter for all 986s and 996s are the same.
Replaceable fuel filters only for early 2.5L Boxster and '99 996. After that they are non-replaceable and are inside the gas tank.
Happy Porsche'ing

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
Thanks Pedro, I knew you would know the answer, but even the GT2, GT3, and turbo? I would have thought those would be different..
...I left out some additional info and a few models that use it as well.

...actually, it was probably JM who did it for me while I watched. Lol. I think starting 02 model yrs they went to putting it in the gas tank and you then no longer needed to change them out.

Got a mouthful of gas doing TC's. I think I learned after that......

Hardest part of the job is getting down the plastic shields.
I have had so many things hit the bottom of my car, I can loosen one of the shield retaining nuts and it just falls apart. Easy!
