Hi, everyone! I'm thinking about installing an entirely new exhaust system on my 2000 S. Most aftermarket headers delete the primary cats, seemingly (unless they're Fabspeed and $$$$). What would happen if I installed an O2 sensor bung after the secondary cats and just shifted the O2 sensors to a position before and after the secondary cats instead of before and after the primary cats? I'd like to avoid a CEL whilst being a bit cheap. winking smiley

Thanks and Happy Boxstering.
If you eliminate the primaries that's what you have to do.
In order to not het a CEL there needs to be an O2 sensor before and one after the existing cat (per side).
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
Thanks very much, Pedro. I really do appreciate it.
