Painted key cover...

I couldn’t find a key cover in midnight blue (my car’s color), so I attempted it myself. Came out pretty good!

Looks great. Porsche would probably "only" have charged you about $500 for the colour matching key and leather pouch.

Thanks G! Yes, this cover snaps right over the original key. I read how some folks drop their key by mistake and then the whole thing flies apart, and figured this might help prevent that if I ever dropped it. Also, since it sits above the original key, less chance of mistakenly pressing the unlock button which sometimes happened when the key was in my pocket. And you’re right...Porsche would have charged a bundle for the color matched key!

From Sunset Porsche it would be $117 discounted from $130 for a painted cover for my 2016 Boxster S key cover. $25 from rennline. Works for me.
