Does anyone know when Porsche started using e gas on the boxster s?
Since they introduced the S the same year as they switched over to e-gas
...all Boxsterrs except the 2.5L ('97, '98 & '99).
and all Carreras except the 3.4L ('99 & '00).
Happy Porsche'ing,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
For a manual that negates the need for adjusting or having shift cables that break and leave you stranded. Just shift into the desired gear and computer knows which gear you are trying to select. That would be cool. Smooth shifts, no balking when cold, etc, and perhaps even prevent you from over rev by accident if it knows you are selecting the wrong gear. Wonder why they haven’t made that yet for manuals.
I thought it’s a slightly altered PDK unit made into a manual but still has shift cables linked to the shift knob. Maybe I’m wrong.
