The glass window has started to separate from my Boxster top -- the rest of the top is fine --
is it possible to reglue? Can this be done successfully - if so any shops in South Florida that
could do it??
I had that problem. I DIY'ed it at first, but it didn't hold. That may have been to the quality of the DIY, but I also took it to my local upholstery/auto top shop/. They said they could also re-glue it for a few hundred, but would give no guarantees. I ended up getting the whole top replaced.

There's a special bonding process that uses high temp and pressure. This can only be done by the manufacturer.
If you have a GAHH top, their bonding is guaranteed for life.
If you have another top there's no warranty.
There's no glue that you can use that'll be a permanent bond.
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
