I bet the price of the destination charges is the reason for the cost increase.

But I also bet that at that money they are still losing -- this is an engineering exercise like the veyron.

Yes, buy a 918 with a trailer hitch and load your 997 Twin Turbo on your Trailex.

Since it is a hybrid, you probably get a $5,000 - $7,000 Federal Tax Credit when you buy one - I am sure that Porsche factored that into the pricing exercise.
