You couldn't get a room for the full week either. Ha! I signed up within the first 5 minutes and could not get a room. I canceled out of the whole Parade.

...seasoned Parade attendees don't cancel out when they can't find a room initially.
There is a 25% room cancellation before the start of Parade.
Those rooms eventually get shuffled to those on the wait list.

I was only going to stay several days for the concours event but without a guaranteed time span I wasn't going to plan on it. Decided to do something else at that time.
