Interestingly, I have a friend who has a 2003 996 cab that he's driving for the last couple of years. I just bought a 2005 987 from another friend that just picked up a new Spyder.
He's had the 987 for a little over a week now and he's pretty enthusiastic about it. His comment was "I've had a chance to drive this for a few days now. Now I get why all of you Boxster drivers are so enthusiastic about your cars. I just feel more connected to the car than I do to the 911"
