Well it's not dead, but it was giving me the 2 beeps when I unlock it with the key fob, and the passenger window doesn't drop automatically when I open the passenger door, or it will drop a bit and then go back up on it's own before i close the door.
Back in 2011, I had fiddled with it a bit, and figured it was a cracked cold solder joint... some how I managed to nurse it along since then, but now it's been malfunctioning 95% of the time for the past couple weeks I've had the car on the road...
Rock Auto for a Uroparts door lock actuator assembly for $121cdn....
Took about a couple hrs to replace this morning.... will report back if it fails or starts acting up again. But for now, it seems very fixed.
