Looks like the Gulf Coast took a really bad hit.
We got very lucky in Tampa Bay.
The expectations were 10-12 feet of storm surge where my daughter lives.
She left everything and came over to our house with her husband, her daughter and two cats.
To everyone's surprise, Ian veered East before expected and Tampa Bay drained out!
Ian took Tampa Bay's water and dumped it into Port Charlotte.
In our home, we were perfectly fine. I had all of the hurricane shutters in place, so we were very safe.
Now the removal of all the panels begins when the winds subside a bit.
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
Good to hear Pedro. Sure sounds like things were bad further south - Fort Meyers and Naples. Good to hear you're taking down stuff instead of having to build stuff back up.
