Bought mine in 1970. Sold it 1972 just before the warranty ran out. Dealership had just added Audi and "Porsche" $3500 cars and couldn't service or supply parts. My work was 3 blocks away and I took a lot of grief from my workmates for the number of times I was parked at the dealership. Joke was I had a spot with my name on it reserved.
For all of that loved the car. Sold to a new Doctor who took it to Philadelphia where I imagine it rusted away.
I still look fondly at the eBay ads for the pristine warm climate cars that have been restored.
Probably what led me to the Boxsters I was lucky enough to own.
