Front passenger side noise
lahalte - Saturday, 27 November, 2010, at 8:32:04 am
Glad to see you back.I have problem with a noise (hummm) coming from the right front passenger side. When I cruise at a regular speed(40-45) a humm starts. If I lift gently my foot off the gas it stops.Above that speed wind noise would drown the noise. So I am not sure if it does it above that.If I accelerate it stops. From a stop if I accelerate and turn right it starts. When I straighten it stops. If I turn without accelerating, foot off the gas, it does not do it.My mechanic has no idea.Checked bearings and they look tight. It has been like this for 3,000 miles.Bearings I think would constantly make a noise and get worse. Some Have mentioned a fuel related problem.Any idea would be appreciated. It is a 2000 Boxster. Thanks
