We only had 60% coverage, here in Tampa Bay, but even so, you could feel and see the difference. Since the first waves to be blocked are the Infra reds, you couldn't feel the warmth of the sun and all the colors were off! My wife and I travelled 800 miles for the previous one and it was awesome. I'll start making plans for the one in 2052. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

You could have one of your idler rollers of the poly-ribbed belt starting to fail. That could create an intermittent screeching sound. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
Every 981 and 991 door panel will delaminate, no matter where or how you keep it. Warmer climates accelerate the delimitation but I'm getting quite a few Canadian cars that are also having delimitation issues. Check out my website so you can send them to us. The sooner you send them in for repairs, the cheaper it will be and the better they will look when repaired, Sincerely, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
Since I'm a math nerd, I'd like to wish you all a happy π day. Make sure to take a bite of your pie today 3/14 at exactly 1:59:26 ( I don't think it matters whether it's AM or PM). The LCD screen is damaged (heat/age/environment). I've seen it get better but it will mostly keep deteriorating. Replacing the LCD is the real solution. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
Could be a small leak from the RMS. If it is that, the main problem is that it will damage the elastometer in the dual mass flywheel. Get under the car to find out where the drop of oil is coming down from. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
You need to do some research in your case. The problem with LED bulbs on cars is that they don't generally have the same light pattern as standard halogen or xenon bulbs and replacing them may give you really bad illumination and/or could affect oncoming traffic which may make your car illegal at night. Find out if anyone has done it (from xenon to LED) and what was their results. It's easier forby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
I saw it over the holidays. I liked it, my wife did not. I'll watch it agin, for sure! Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
Are you sure it's the bulb? Have you tested the ballast? Switch bulbs from side-to-side. That way you can tell if it's bulb or ballast. With Xenon bulbs you need the exact replacement, so if it is the bulb, look at the specs printed on the base and replace with similar. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

Why would I use my competitor's product in my car? The whole thing about the LNE hybrid ceramic "solution" is that it is not a permanent fix. They recommend you replace the bearing at regular intervals. We developed the DOF because of that issue specifically. We had to offer a permanent repair. The TechnoFix (Direct Oil Feed) uses a steel bearing that's constantly lubricated and requires no replby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
... many years ago I decided that I would maintain my car according to the Porsche Service Schedule and to replace any part that fails. It has served me well and save me a bunch of money. I have not done any preventive replacements, such as AOS, water pump, etc.except for the Direct Oil Feed IMS fix way back at 103,000K. ... get replaced for the wrong reasons. You need to know that OBD2 code Readers speak in code. Even though you're reading: "aging sensor ahead of catalyst, bank 1-3" the only thing that's a given is that it's happening on the right bank of the engine. The aging sensor doesn't mean that it's an old sensor, but rather that the signal the ECU expects to see from the sensor is weaker than it wants. Iby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

I'm assuming you have H7 halogens in your car. Probably what you describe as dim is just your parking light and not the low beam. The parking light makes it seem like a dim bulb, but the low is probably dead. Have you checked the fuse? Fuse A-9 is Low Beam, right side. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

Could be a loose baffle inside the muffler can. Try hitting it with a rubber mallet checking for the rattle. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
If you REALLY want to get them exactly you could install a variable resistor (rheostat) on the faster window's 12 volt line and start increasing resistance until speeds equalize. Good luck! Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
The two beeps when locking the car just means that there is an open circuit in one or more: • Front hood • Rear trunk • Right door • Left Door • Oddsment compartment If they are all closed and latched and you still get the two beeps, there may be an issue with one of the door locking mechanisms. Even though we're not in a flood zone, the Boxster is 6 feet off the garage floor. My wife's ride is underneath and my "evacuated" daughter's next to that. All good. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
