... since I believe that including additives makes for a better (not lesser formulation). If motor oil's only intent was to lubricate parts, then I agree, but motor oil serves many other functions as well: • Cooling • Protecting • Cleaning For these additional requirements is that pure oil needs to be fortified. These additives help with heat transfer, anti-wear and internal cleaning, amongby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
According to the owner's manual: "The oil level should be between the minimum and maximum marks. The difference between the two marks is approximately 1.25 liters. If the level falls below the minimum mark, the segment underneath flashes". Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

... won't change as you are not consuming it and it's a closed loop. The reason why it should be replaced every couple of years is because of the type of fluid used. It is extremely water absorbent. It takes in water through the pores in the brake lines. Once the water is in the fluid it can damage the pistons in the calipers and can cause other problems including brake fade. ... come with brake dampers that are adhered to the back of the pads and inserted into the pistons. No need to remove the calipers to change the pads, though. Just insert a knife between the pad and the damper plate and pry them off. You'll then be able to lift the pads right off. You can most likely re-use the damper plates by just leaving them in place and replacing just the pads. I'll have toby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

... just kidding. It's a guide that's supposed to keep the top's frame more secure when down. What happens is that as the material gets older it folds differently and gets caught between the frame and these fingers. I've seen them cut right through the material. Here are the instructions for cleaning the throttle body: and here are the instructions for replacing the A/O Separator: The only way oil gets into the combustion chambers is either bypassing the piston rings or coming in from the A/O Separator into the intake downstream of the throttle body, through the open intake valves and into the cylinder(s). If it was that intense, don't start the engine again, as it could hydrolock. The tech will probably have to clean all of the intake parts as they may be very coated with oil. Good luck.
