I've gotten as far as seeing the special O2 sockets, and interestingly, a video where a 22mm crow's foot is used on a pivoting, but non ratcheting handle. Here's the crow's foot video. The pertinent part is from about 2:25 to 5:30. I think he says the normal O2 socket can be too bulky. Anyone? Pedro? Thanks. Btw, I discovered the loose sensor while removing a malfunctioning #5 coil, which, suspiby Laz - Main Forum

My well water goes through a whole house water softener, but apparently "dissolved solids" pass through. I once tried a few ounces of distilled vinegar in a gallon or so of water from my dehumidifier* as a final wipedown with some effect, but wonder if it deteriorates a wax finish or otherwise affects trim parts, etc. Glassware comes out spotless from my dishwasher, so I've contemplated trying aby Laz - Main Forum
It could be that seeing the street 911 makes it relatable. It's nearly impossible to aspire to driving a prototype at Le Mans, but we can wish to, or actually own, a street Porsche. Rust bucket that it was, I proudly drove my 66 912 to the theater with my dad. Seeing the McQueen's 911 made me feel a kinship to him and the brand. If you have two keys, and haven't tried the alternate yet, see if that works better. Although the blade doesn't have teeth as such, perhaps the groove pattern is worn and misaligning with the "tumblers." (No idea what's in there!) Worn conventional keys can have this issue, and sometime pulling back a minute amount before turning helps. So, perhaps it's not either part of the switch. One or bothby Laz - Main Forum

I recall in 2014 at LeMans, the LMP1 Audi Diesel hybrids making only a sizzle sort noise, which I took to be the sound of the rolling tires on the pavement. Strange indeed. The Corvettes' subterranean notes had my seat resonating even before the cars came into view. The (I think) Rebellion teams running V6's made the most ear-piercing gutteral shriek I've ever experienced.by Laz - Main Forum

and causing the "anomaly." If I recall correctly, to wake/unlock the car, there's a procedure using the bladed key in the key slot hidden under the driver's door handle.by Laz - Main Forum
Sounds like a ground issue. If I correctly recall correctly the attachment of the 986 headlight unit: Pull the headlight unit, squirt a bit of contact cleaner or WD40 into the electrical connector, both at the unit and the receptical inside the fender. Be sure the plug is home; also the whole unit snapped into place on its track. (Not sure why this last would have anything to do with continuity,by Laz - Main Forum
Found this on the google machine: Video isn't very clear, and the car has a wet immobilizer, but I think it'll work for a dead battery. '99 model. Releaseby Laz - Main Forum
Using an intaglio burnishing tool made it a cinch to lift the locking clips up. Like the one at this link: Ok, a second hint: the clips don't have to be completely removed.by Laz - Main Forum
