attached to the rear suspension, you might've noticed a similar pair up front at the trailing edge of the nose's underside, just ahead of the tires. I recommend getting a spare set. They're not expensive and are very easy to change. Note there are different left and right parts.by Laz - Main Forum
By the way, I edited my post because I realized I wasn't asking a question.by Laz - Main Forum

More than once my Boxster's partial leather interior got fairly wet. The leather portions (seat squabs in particular) suffered no ill effects that I could discern. Factors for this are that the occurrences were at night, I towel dried everything as soon as I got to the car and if it was still raining put the top up... of course. With the top up I ran the AC recirculating at full blast with the heby Laz - Main Forum

It might be ok to use others, but it's certainly ok to use the Porsche recommended products.by Laz - Main Forum

Others can be more articulate about this, but if you use a charger that doesn't shut off once the battery reaches full charge, it could wreck the battery. The way I understand it, a fast charger is ok if you monitor the battery's state of charge. A trickle charger operates at a lower charge rate that will have less tendency to overheat (?) the battery. A battery maintainer charges at a fairly sedby Laz - Main Forum

I just wondered in a counter-intuitive way. Sometimes that leads to valid concepts. I think Porsche recommended the cool down right after people took delivery of the 930 and baked the turbo bearings by immediately shutting down after a hard run.by Laz - Main Forum
Wouldn't a Subaru loving, Porsche hating person be a bit of a schizophrenic? I think Porsche's engineering consultation department helped them design their horizontally opposed engines. I wouldn't necessarily consider a "Boxster" to be junk, but maybe I would a "Boxter!"by Laz - Main Forum

Could a thinner oil actually be better for a turbo engine/the turbo itself?by Laz - Main Forum
I'm a lot more sedate with cross-street, stop-light situations. Besides, I came from Staten Island, where the roads eat cars if you drive too fast. (Care to regularly change suspension pieces and rims?) Decades ago I think it was Goodrich that ran a two page ad in the national car magazines. One side had a diagram of roads on SI and the Nurburgring on the other. The copy read something like, "Whiby Laz - Main Forum
perhaps if the pads start wearing at a less than optimal angle because they're slightly hung up. Maybe the ridges could chew up the edges of the pad faces, let alone concentrate the wear there or twist the pads ever so slightly.by Laz - Main Forum
Then I moved to where I do a lot more highway driving and the wear rate doubled.by Laz - Main Forum

I didn't thoroughly go through the show's schedule, but I recommend keeping watch for repeats. It was quite interesting, especially about the part of the process that aligns the metal's molecules.by Laz - Main Forum
I think the non-PP 050 is one of them. Get the Hunter road-force balance done, too, although this may need to be re-done after the tires have broken in at about 500 miles.by Laz - Main Forum
