with my wife in Lausanne Switzerland on the north side of Lake Geneva and we drove around the east end of the lake and on south to Chamonix, France. It was snowy, mountainous and treacherous on that part of the trip in the Alps south of the lake to Chamonix. We then went through the Mt Blanc Tunnel as the idea was to have lunch in Italy. We found a small Italian town (I forget the name) and had lby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

I was looking for a Buick Regal or something similar. My wife spotted an ad in the paper for a used Porsche 924 and we went to look at it. It was sitting in a warehouse. I drove it and everything seemed OK. The price was great. It seemed too good to be true. That night, in bed, my wife asked what I thought about the Porsche. I expressed my doubts and that I thought maybe it was stolen. My wifeby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
years after my discharge. In 1975 when the Vietnam war ended I sponsored three Vietnamese refugees, a young man and an older guy with his wife. I housed and fed them for months while I got them integrated into our society (best we could). The young guy we got into the University of Minnesota, where he later got a degree in economics, and I got the older guy and his wife a job and an apartment. Soby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
In Youtube just search on "UTVUnderground Presents". Youtube "The Crash" Pedro I know about morning aches and pains. When I was in my early twenties I was a sky diver and made 200 jumps logging about an hour of free fall. I am paying the price for that adventure in my later years with knee replacements and spinal surgery. I posted my suspicion that my health issues were a result of sky diving oby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

We never saw a live boar and that was probably a good thing.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
I have posted three videos covering our Croatia driving vacation The videos are each around 15 minutes and in the order of the major locations as we visited them but each video includes other locations that we visited. Zagreb includes Trakoscan and Slunj. Split features the island of Brac and our drive to Dubrovnik through Bosnia. Dubrovnik includes our drive down to Montenegro giving us lots ofby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

We drove into Montenegro today as far as Kotor. We ate at a lovely village on the water named Perast. The road was two way but so tight that I am still amazed that we did not hit the opposing traffic. Had we gone an inch(s) to the right we would have had our right wheels hanging over the water off the stone embankment. on the way back when we were in Croatia going northwest to Dubrovnik when my wby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
We started in Zagreb. I plan to make a you tube video when we get home using my video tapes and my wife's photos. Parking is crazy all over Europe with all the small streets. Dubrovnik is built on a slope that is something greater than 45% so it is very interesting. Croatia is a great place to visit.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt. I was drawn to it because there is no visible grill or other air intake. All the air enters under the front bumper. One of my favorites was the 1907 American Underslung Roadster, "America's first sports car". I took a photo of that one with my phone. Sorry I missed meeting you there. Our very reliable 1974 MGB. I broke it out of the shed this morning and moved it down to the garage. I didn't put the Boxster in the garage since it can't be put in reverse to back it out. So now I have a ride until the Boxster is repaired or they give me a loaner.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

Right after I went through the toll gate at Valley Forge to get on the PA turnpike I found that all of a sudden I could not change gears. We were on our way to a wedding in NYC (bronx botanical gardens). I had to get on the turnpike back to the next exit (29) to go back home to switch cars to my wife's Mercedes in order to make the wedding. I think it was struck in second or third gear, about 400by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
