Not sure what the question (What are some of your alt reasons for buying one?) has to do with snow chains but I have a cute story to tell. We had just returned to Calif. from London and I was shopping for a car, something like a Buick Regal. My wife saw an ad for a 924 that had a very attractive price so we went and looked at it. Later as we settled in bed for the night she asked me what I thougby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
Dancing with Sand Crabs, Directors Cut. I have replaced the URL in the above post with a new one. There was a lot of shakiness in the video because I was zoomed in when I took it. Using youtube's stabilize feature I was able to fix that. If you've already seen the video it is worth watching the improved version again.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

Meredith When you go to a beach there must be more to do than just get a tan. In Cancun you can go see the Mayan pyramids at Chichén Itzá. In Luquillo you can go see the castles in San Juan, see the Rain Forests, go to an aviary with hundreds of colorful tropical birds and you can drive the now famous PR181.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

Pedro Reference: PR 184 Post My wife and are staying in Luquillo and we have a rented Hyundai. Today we drove down the east coast of Puerto Rico using the smaller coastal roads where possible. Then we drove west on PR3 on the southern coast to Patillas where we got on 181. We took 181 north to San Lorenzo where we got off and went east back to our home base. It was a lovely drive with many goodby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
I last remember using it on a car to replace a head gasket on my 74 MGB in 80 or 81. I must have done a good job because the car still runs good.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

mentioned seeing a brown Porsche and found it striking. There was not enough time on the offer to custom order so I went to my sales rep Eric Exley at Conshohocken Porsche near here. I told him what I wanted and he found it up north of here in the Lehigh valley. I especially liked the wood shift knob, The reason for the Porsche NA offer, I believe, was to move the 2012 before the 2013 was annouby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

Minneapolis a long time ago. Of course the top was up. The exciting part was after driving on the freeway for awhile at that temperature I could not turn the steering wheel when I came to my exit ramp. I had to slow down and let the engine heat warm up my rack and pinion gears and then take the next exitby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

I lived in Paris for two years a long time ago. If you can go through the Place de l'Étoile at rush hour and survive you can call yourself a Parisian. Getting out of this giant roundabout is is an aquired skill that takes courage and some blind faith in the drivers on the right. Here is a link to some photos. when I went there they were too busy to give me the ride so I got my confirmation # and left. The Jags are now built by the Indian company Tata. This after being part of Ford for a while. They said that they are still made in Britain. About the same time I got an offer to test drive a Ferrari at a country club followed by gourmet champagne and Hors d'oeuvres. That was fun.
