I need to remove the entire visor to deal with the sticker on the side opposite fro the mirror.. Due to previous bad experiences I am afraid to force things with a screw driver. Perhaps you are you saying that after removing torx screw I should put a screw driver where I have a white line in the photo below and pry it?by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
Pedro. I bought a new 2012. I am going to use the denatured alcohol trick to remove the air bag warning. I saw your post on the board advising black satin plastic paint instead but thought I would do this first. In any case I need to remove the visor. I undid the single torx screw but the visor does not want to come out of the top bracket on the other side even though I tugged on it pretty good.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

987 Generation II, 2009-2012 The 2012 has noticeably more pep. Displacement increased from 2.7 to 2.9 liters for Gen II, increasing power from 245 hp (183 kW) to 255 hp (190 kW). The manual transmission is six speed and reverse is now forward to the left instead of back to the right which is a little hard to get used to. The front now has a scoop like the Boxster S. on the shift lever, hand brake and dashboard. I thought the entire color scheme went together very well. (Taken with my touch 4g cell phone) Today, on my first day out to do shopping, I parked in a shopping center lot and was approached and asked if it was a new Porsche color. I said no, it is just rare. I am the first kid in my neighborhood that has one.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

My warranty was about to expire and a letter / contribution from Porsche NA increased my trade in value. The new car is a brown metallic with a cocoa top, sand beige interior and wood interior trim on the dash, shift lever and emergency brake handle. The color is not very often seen on the street which was part of the appeal. It was late when we got home so the couple of photos I took (see below)by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
Attached is a youtube.com link to my photo image collage of the event. Radnor Hunt Concours d'Elegance The resolution of the images are high so it takes a while to download. Once started you may want to pause the playback until the video is buffered to your PC.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
I received this enhanced trade in value offer from Porsche a while back and it expires at the end of September, a month before my warranty expires. You can see my 2008 here --. I am actually looking at a couple options in multiple model years to replace it -- or I could continue to drive my 2008 until.......by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
not? I seem to recall the middle scoop is not functional on the base Boxster on the 09-11 models so maybe I can use the Bra if the fenders, etc. are the same size.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

Contributing factors behind this purchase: 1). I had bought her a Satellite Radio for Christmas that was supposed to work in the car and at home. The home docking items needed turned out not to be included and when I looked at the 20 foot antenna for the car with a magnet on the end I decided to take it back promising my wife to do something else. 2). Her previous car was a MB C320, a four seatby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

Guenter Yes there are pedestrian areas, parking is limited and you definitely would not want to rent a car and drive here. One top pedestrian street is Váci Utca . At this time of year Vörösmarty Square at the end of Váci Utca is set up as a Christmas Fair / Market with many stalls selling a numerous variety of goods and food including Rooster Testicle Stew, apparently a local delicacy.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
We haven't used a Taxi. We bought a seven day pass to use the combination Metro, Tram and Bus system. The system is excellent and you can freely hop on and off when you like and go just about everywhere in minutes. We have only had to show our passes a couple of times to inspectors.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

My wife and I spent Thanksiving week in Budapest and we are still here in the apartment we rented. Last night Budapest had its first snowfall of the year decorating everything in white. This morning I went out to get breakfast rolls at the local market and took this photo that made me think of you guys. The Porsche here is only the second I have seen in the time we have been here. This is a greatby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
Currently the last thread updated with a reply floats to the top even if the thread was started a week ago it is the first one you see. It ruins the order of posts. The 'Floating Off' option on PPBB stopped the float.by Jeff (Philly) - Board suggestions
