Happy New Year from the northern crew! What a fantastic way to start a new year. A beautiful Boxster bathed in sunshine and tropical setting.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
And a Merry Christmas from the north of the border members.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Depends on your point of view. You're obviously enjoying your 981. If anything, I'd say it's gaining in value. That's the way I feel about mine. Not that I need to say it .... enjoy.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
I CAN wait. Needed two cups 'a joe to get me through the video.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Kind of related. We had a very good friend pass away earlier this year. He had bought his dream car, a 718 Spyder 2 years ago. After he passed away, his brother had an urn made, in the shape of his Spyder, for his ashes.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
How many km have you enjoyed with it?by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Love the contrast of dark green and the coloured leaves on the ground. Your car sure looks in beautiful shape. Just think about the thrill of opening that shiny package in 137 days.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Thanks John. I just checked and there doesn't seem to be a listing for newer Boxsters on Amazon. Mine is a 2014.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Took advantage of a couple of hours of sunshine yesterday afternoon with some refreshing temps in the 40's F.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
and the CURVEN8R just seems to have developed this technique of photobombing some of my pictures. As far as I can remember, that wasn't listed as one of the options when I was playing with the configurator.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Thanks. It's just a road that I haven't been on before. Nothing special in terms of driving. I had to take a drive to Woodstock (No they've never had a music festival at this one.) So I just searched for a route that I hadn't take before and came across this field of pumpkins and trees in the background. The colours this year aren't as vibrant as some years, but still a lot better than they'll beby Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Here, north of the boarder, the driving season is getting short. We've had lots of rainy, cloudy days. So when it's dry, it's time to get out to enjoy some Fall colours. I got out to explore a few new roads. Even though the weather was fairly cloudy, it was still a relatively warm day for this time of year. I came across this field where there will still some pumpkins that hadn't been harvested yby Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Thanks Laz I notice that struts on mine are getting a bit "lazy". They still hold the lid up, but a bit of wind from behind will knock it down..by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Mike, I decided to replace mine when I had to replace all four tires last year. After 9 years, the sensors where still working fine, but decided to replace them to avoid having to do it separately. I'm not sure if my info applies with the difference in US pricing and exchange rate. Here's my summary post from last year.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Yes it is. There are a lot of wineries in the Niagara Region, many of them found along the Niagara Parkway which runs along the Niagara River.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
An interesting shot. I like the reflection of the mast top just behind the 3rd stop light. As a contrast. Yesterday, we had a great day with the sun coming out after 3 cloudy, dreary days and got to enjoy a nice sunny drive along the Niagara Parkway.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
I know what you mean about the power. 40 HP doesn't exactly knock your socks off. I look at my Boxster as a KG on steroids. My '68 had headrests (built as part of the seat - like the Boxster's) and also had shoulder belts. Maybe Canadian models required them before the US version?by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
This is a picture of my 1968 Karmann Ghia, taken on a trip to Florida. I wish that I could have kept it. It was always my favourite car. But, life gets in the way. Then much late I was able to purchase the Boxster Here are a couple of pictures that I took on our California trip in 2009 in Sedona, showing some of the DNA that the Ghia and Boxster share.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Got in a nice drive this past weekend. Some things are hard to resist.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
This one was dark clouds and a deluge. Even having the side windows up doesn't help much as it starts coming in over top and the sides. I don't like getting the interior wet.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum

Happy 4th of July to our south of the border friendsby Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
We took a drive along some of my favourite Porsche Roads and stopped along the Niagara Parkway for a picnic lunch with the river on one side and vineyards on the other. Nice and warm today. Hit 32 C - 90 F. And Mother Nature even provided us with a free car wash on the way home. Par for the course this year, it seems.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
A few of us headed out to the PCA Upper Canada Region picnic last weekend. Despite forecast for rain, it turned out to be a perfect Boxster day.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
If you're getting lime buildup in your washer nozzles, try using distilled water instead of tap water to fill / mix your washer fluid.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Beautiful looking car. Congratulations on all the milestones. At almost a quarter century old, your car is an excellent example of what I love about Boxsters. It's such a timeless design. Wishing you a lot of great topless weather with lots of permagrin filled miles.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
....almost the one for me. It sounded terrific until I got to the PDK part. I realize that the PDK will likely produce quicker lap times. But how many times will this car be used to win championship races with titles and $$$$$$$$$$$ on the line?by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
that Porsche will surely solve this issue by allowing you to tick off the the right options. Most owners will be more than willing to add the BSE option for a mere $3000 - $4000 so it will sound like they're virtually driving a real Boxster.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
As usual, Pedro, you have all this information at you fingertips as soon as it comes out. A lot of what you've already written about, is recapped in the video.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
