OK. I might see him after BRBS, the club is having a mixer and he is suppose to be our guest of honor. I'll ask him what he is currently driving, since Porsche gives him a new car to drive every year.by Naples986 - Main Forum
a great story teller. About two years ago he published a book about his time at Porsche and team building, that's when he told us about his Cayman. He was touring around Florida doing book signings with one trunk full of books and the other his travel gear. He remarked that what the Cayman was capable of is an accomplishment for any car but for a sports car to be that practical was unheard of inby Naples986 - Main Forum

some of the back roads I found on the Deal's Gap map. I drove the Dragon once but the rest of these roads are new to me, Warwoman Road, Moonshiner 28 with its waterfalls, Foothills Parkway, and scenic Old Hwy 73 thru the Great Smoky Mountains Nat. that professionally does headlights. They do the same thing that you see on TV with Mothers, Meguiar, 3M etc. the difference is the final step, where the pros use a spray on sealant that has UV protection. This worked so well that a family member brought a franchise to offer this service in their shop. The friend that told me about it is going on two years, mine (two cars) are one year old anby Naples986 - Main Forum

Or LASIK. How long has it been since you had it done Scott? Would you recommend it?by Naples986 - Main Forum
I had my SUV tinted with 3M film that has UV protection since we have such sunny weather in Florida. As a result I don't usually need my sunglasses when I am driving it. I use the sunglasses mostly for driving the Porsche since it is not tinted or when the top is down. I wish I could easily switch from one style or type to another but prescription sunglasses are expensive and the choices areby Naples986 - Main Forum
As an example the doctor said some oil or water on the road create glare that would be eliminated by the Polarized glasses. He said the great properties that Polarized lens have for water related activities don't always transfer to other uses where being able to see a contrast is needed. I don't remember which countries outlaw them, we had that conversation last year. This year he just remindeby Naples986 - Main Forum
for driving since they eliminate reflections/glare of things on the road you need to see, per my doctor. He says driving with Polarized glasses is outlawed in some countries because of this danger. I read some post on other sites that also complained about not seeing the dash clearly because of the Polarized effect.by Naples986 - Main Forum

I used the 3M wet sand kit and it got the fog off. But as Pedro said without some sort of UV coating it came right back. I gave up and had a company called headlight doctor redo it about 1 year ago and it still looks good. They wet sand it and finish it off with an airbrushed UV sealant. Good luck.by Naples986 - Main Forum
