... as with most things in life, especially politics, we're divided on the issues 50/50. Beating this horse to death is not going to make things any better. Those that have made up their minds, have made up their minds and probably won't be convinced otherwise. Half of us think the IMSG is a viable product while the other half of us believe it's not. Sorry to hear that Al. I don't think that the spoiler was deployed by the impact on the rear bumper. Most likely you had touched the switch when you were opening the fuse box. If neither mirror works and the fuse is OK the next piece I'd check is the switch and its connections. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

When new orders were being placed and we couldn't deliver because we had no cores, those ordering would get upset at me. So it was discontinued. I now only make them for racing and to order. ... the IMS Guardian, but the IMS bearing is not the only bearing in the engine which this detector can alert the user when it starts to fail. This piece is a metal chip detector that will alert you in case of any unexpected ferro-chips in the oil. My engine blew at 203,000 miles while on the track (at Sebring). It cost me a pretty penny. ... for every Boxster/Cayman/Carrera owner as we have seen from the previous discussions. There may be some people who can catch a failing bearing before it destroys their engine, I did. I caught it when my clutch was replaced. Some people may be lucky to find chips on their filter and catch it in time. ... this is THE BEST time of the year. I know you put up with 6 months of the white stuff so you put your cars away for now. Here in SoFla we put up with 6 months of wet, sticky heat and we have to drive with the top up. Now, we get to enjoy our Roadsters! I always enjoyed driving in the winter. My car was ordered with heated seats and it was a blast to drive on a sunny day with the top down and the heater and seat warmers on. When it go really cold a group of us would get together to flood an abandoned K-Mart parking lot and then we'd set up cones and AX on the ice for a couple of months. I didn't see the first part of your post: "Why would you need to sign a NDA?". When I heard the first rumors about the project, it peaked my interest. I called Jake and asked him about it.
