lots of goodies to choose from.by frogster - Main Forum
some of you may remember the eternal discussions regarding whether the rear spoiler created downforce or simply negated lift. well, porsche seems to have made a clear statement. from the new boxster microsite: "The rear wing is not only a visual treat, it deploys automatically at 75 mph (120 km/h) to reduce lift."by frogster - Main Forum
i took out the console in my boxster and loved it. loved the look and loved how it gave so much more room for my right leg.by frogster - Main Forum
my best wishes for a happy and safe holiday season to all my fellow board members. and a very heart-felt thank you to you pedro for making this board happen. also to stephan for the huge amount of effort you put into keeping the gears, levers, and pulleys smoothly oiled. and to you guenter for your deputy duties. you have managed to keep this board one of the best in the world regardless of subjeby frogster - Main Forum
i remember getting that feeling whenever i did work on my boxster. even after an oil change, the car just felt better. obviously from an empirical measurement that's impossible but from an emotional one it is.by frogster - Main Forum
since there is snow in the picture of this dufus with his new lamb, i will assume that the temps are near freezing. i will also assume that the lambo has nice, wide, high-performance tires. mix those two together and add 631 horsepower. throw in a guy who has probably never driven anything better than a mid-nineties camaro and you have the perfect recipe for a crash. how can we (society) put "joby frogster - Main Forum
… because I'll need to buy a boxster to put them on!by frogster - Main Forum
go go go go crash. press restart. it's just a game. glad you made out okay tony. i would have hated to see your beautiful boxster get hurt (but if it ever does, can i have your wheels? )by frogster - Main Forum
he's saying that the ignition to the outside remains. poor writing but that's what he's saying.by frogster - Main Forum
it's obviously someone who was with the group for the whole trip. the driver of one of the boxsters is even posing in a pic or two. now whether or not this person had the right to post those pics is another story. but i doubt it would be difficult for porsche to figure out who took them. after reading the article that guenter linked to, i think it's likely that those "spy" pics were shot by theby frogster - Main Forum
same thing, cars would have thousands of dollars worth of damage done by these guys.by frogster - Main Forum
no, seriously, about the thieves not being able to drive a manual; really? i can understand not liking or not wanting, but not being able to??? that's weird. but the more important part of the article was "…After ordering the 45 year old man and his 23 year old girlfriend out …" wow.by frogster - Main Forum
Quotedb997SOh, and no, believe it should have been: "Should it have been" and not "should it of had." I don't see what's wrong with "should it of had…" he's asking a question; it has a fabric roof but should it of had a metal one?by frogster - Main Forum
did the curtain knock everyone down? if so, why?by frogster - Main Forum
i thought it was interesting that Porsche would give Delta cars to use for this service. I would assume that they would be Cayennes and Panameras. I can't see using a 911 or boxster for that type of service. Guess they're hoping that some high value customer will think "hey, this is a nice car" and then go out and buy one. But how much would it cost porsche to do this? Delta Adds Porsche Car Picby frogster - Main Forum
try the procedure explained here for the "outside lock in range." i doubt that's it since both keys have failed at the same time but you never know. one thing to check is if the LED on the dashboard of the car flashes quickly as long as you're holding the key down. if it does, then at least you know your key is talking to the car. then it's a question of whether or not the key is sending the wroby frogster - Main Forum
of course the boxster is driveable in the winter but there were many reasons i never drove mine in the winter. 1- i wear heavy jackets in the winter, tend to get into the car and then take them off and throw them in the back seat. not practical in the boxster especially if you're two. 2- i can't drive the boxster the way i like driving it so what's the point? 3- when it's snowing or raining, visiby frogster - Main Forum
i really wonder what makes a person do something like that. they really can't consider that living is worth very much.by frogster - Main Forum
QuoteTnert …and I have two great kids, Enzo - 4 years old, loves Ferraris and Porsches in that order, and Leo - 2 years old, who loves the Porsche and was just about his first word." if you named your first one "Enzo", why didn't you name the second "Ferdinand?"by frogster - Main Forum
i could hear them when i pounded the exhaust with my fist. i had a very difficult time replacing them with the car on the ground. not enough clearance. with the car on a lift it would be as easy as undoing and redoing the fasteners (they aren't plain old screws.)by frogster - Main Forum
sometimes i'm surprised i'm still alive. i would hit 80 MPH in some places on that road. Stupid youth. I shudder to think about it.by frogster - Main Forum
i find that car to be terribly ugly. it looks like a bump or a wart or something. i thought they'd never sell here but they are all over the place. i guess people want whatever is new, to be different. mini, smart, now the 500. oh well. it'll pass.by frogster - Main Forum
those would be a lot more dimes than i would care to pony up for a car that i couldn't really appreciate hereby frogster - Main Forum
