You may need to allow cookies in order for the site to show the VIN entry field. Doing the search by make and model (less precise) should bring up the recall if your vehicle is in the general category. As of now, my car is in the clear, but I'll check again from time to time. I used to regularly drive on the Hutch, the Merritt, and the Wilbur Cross. During warm months it was BMWs (the ultimate driving machine!) spun around in the medians and shoulders; in winter it'd be Swedish cars and Jeeps.by Laz - Main Forum
Totally dogging it from stoplights to maximize range. In a slightly related way, I think people who have those insurance company monitors installed, ostensibly to "save" on premiums, become terrorized into not even reaching the speed limit, let alone going over. Have any of you noticed lately a lot of cars doing 38 in a 40, etc? (This is knowing, in my case that my speedometer is 1, at most 2, mby Laz - Main Forum

I took delivery of my 13 Boxster S June 28, 2012 (the US release date,) so it looks like my car is in the clear. By September the car had 2000 miles, the oil was changed and I went on an 8500 mile trip around the country.by Laz - Main Forum

That's an excellent video. Lots of great scenes, and a fairly informative narration. (The narration sounds like a very good translation from, I assume, German.)by Laz - Main Forum
When it was released, I saw it with my dad. Appropriate to the occasion, we took my 66 912. I think that race was when the running (literally) start was changed to an in-car standing start to accommodate the film production. I get a thrill even with the beginning when McQueen's driving through town: I've been on those very streets, and in St.-Julien Cathedral.by Laz - Main Forum

… it’s something I’ve had at front-of-mind for the past year or so. One factor has been the global ad/cookie/script-blocking(?) that’s active on my phone & Mac. Also my driving had dropped considerably in the time of Covid. Shouldn’t be needing tires for either car for quite a while, but even yesterday (not making this up!) just browsing the TR site I reminded myself to go through tby Laz - Main Forum
The lifter clatter (if that) at startup seems a bit like a problem my car had on each side over a span of a couple years, namely two finally failed "valve lift solenoid(s)" or some such. However, too many of your car's symptoms were different. My imagined scenario is that perhaps the battery has become marginal, (no maintainer?) and the slow cranking didn't create enough initial lifter pressure,by Laz - Main Forum

... is to "reinforce" the fibers in that area, help keep dirt (abrasive) out, and possibly create a little lubricity. A little update: I wound up ordering Griot Fabric Protector this time around. And an aside: the driver's left side squab and back bolsters are developing cracks that follow along the ventilation perforation pattern. The ScotchGard I have is for Rugs and Carpets, and 3M’s online FAQ says not to use it on fabric. Just gonna get RaggTopp and “repurpose” the SG.by Laz - Main Forum
