Pedro, I am a pediatric cardiologist in Upstate New York. Also a Porsche fan since 1956, PCA member since 1985, and a track rat with 2002 Boxster S. I have a 2002 Boxster S, with warrantee that ran out October 2005. I got a 4 year $200 deductible bumper-to-bumper extended warranty from Warranty Direct for $1686. I didn't have to worry about IMS issues, blow-ups, or other problems, and slept well. Over the next four years, they paid out over $6000 for a new transmission, ignition switch, broken rear suspension mount, both rear wheel bearingsby espooner - Main Forum
2002 Boxster S, 6speed, 45,000 miles. While at Watkins Glenn Intl. last weekend, my gas gauge started acting up. It read "full" all day, when normally it is on empty by the end of the day. Turning car off and on had no effect. Filled the tank that evening (14 gallons). By the end of the first run the next day, it read 3/4 full, and was working normally. 2 hours later, it reads "full" again, andby espooner - Main Forum
