I've got my eye on a Cayenne in Willowbrook, IL. I'm looking for a shop to do a PPI. Ed Napelton Porsche is nearby, but they no longer do PPIs, and their techs are currently on strike. Does anyone know of a good indy shop in the area - Westmont, Hinsdale, Darien, Downers Grove.... Thanks. - Robby Rob in KC - Main Forum
Not exactly in your back yard, but you might check out Detailer's Domain, just across the river in NJ. Phil details tons of Porsches.by Rob in KC - Main Forum
I will be replacing plugs as part of the 60k service on my 2001 S. Is it recommended to go ahead and change all of the tubes and seals at the same time, or only if they are damaged/leaking? Thanks. - Robby Rob in KC - Main Forum
It is one piece. Part # is 986 541 541 02.by Rob in KC - Main Forum
I suppose that is an option, but it doesn't really bother me enough (yet) to go down that route. A new trim piece is only about $50 which is why I was hoping to just swap it out.by Rob in KC - Main Forum
I have a 2001 S that is suffering from discoloration of the silver windshield trim. This seems to be a pretty common problem. I would like to replace the trim piece. Has anyone taken on this job? Just wondering if this piece is easily replaceable. I have seen one post that seems to indicate it is not possible to replace this without removing the windshield. Thanks. - Robby Rob in KC - Main Forum
So is it possible to just replace this trim piece? I have an S and it is suffereing from the discolored silver windshield trim. I'm hoping that it is possible to easily replace that piece. Thanks. - Robby Rob in KC - Main Forum
