I also have an amplifier and this navigation thingy from a 2007 Carerra c4s: I would love to get rid of this stuff, and will take a seriously discounted amount plus shipping (I am in the Annapolis area).by kosiba - Parts for Sale

Here are some pictures: The cdr 220. A bit dusty but worked well when I swapped it out.by kosiba - Parts for Sale
Hi All-- I'm so sorry I haven't replied, for some reason I thought I'd be emailed. The exhaust I inherited when I bought my 2000 Boxster S in 2003. It wasn't on the car, the previous owner had changed it out. So it has less than 20,000 (and I expect a lot less). Its been sitting in my garage. Price-- not much-- I would take half the value of any exhaust on ebay or similar plus any shipping.by kosiba - Parts for Sale
Guys-- was cleaning out the garage and have a box of stuff from my 2000 Boxster S I'd like to get rid of. I'll gladly take shipping plus half of whatever these parts run on ebay or whatever. I'm near Annapolis. First is a CDR 220 head unit. Worked fine when I replaced it a few years ago. The knobs are a wreck-- the rubbery texture has become super tacky and need to be resurfaced. Hi all-- was spring cleaning, and ran across my stash of boxster parts (from a 2000S). Are these things valuable?? Do you know good places to sell them? I'm in Annapolis, and have: The original Boxster stereo the original S exhaust (unused, I believe) The Amber tail light pieces ... and a couple other things I expect. or should I pitch them?by kosiba - Parts for Sale
Dumb question-- does it affect the car at all if we just ignore the TPMS? Or disable it?by kosiba - Main Forum

See the readout under the fuel gauge is out? How do I fix?by kosiba - Main Forum
Hi-- I've a 2000S and the lamp in the gauge is out (right lamp that displays time in the dash). Anybody know how to replace them? Easy? Thanks for your help-- Ricby kosiba - Main Forum
What's the vent? Does the diehard have it?by kosiba - Main Forum
My 2000 Boxster S has a dead battery. I'm going to ask dumb questions. What is different about Porsche batteries- can't I just run the dead one over to sears and replace it with the appropriate die hard? What is "venting"? Are there any tricks associated with the swap? Sincere thanks.by kosiba - Main Forum
Naaa- I live in DC and want the top down in the spring. One of the things I've learned-- I am NOT a coupe person. Are there convertibles that would do well in the snow?by kosiba - Main Forum
Hi All-- I'm in the market for a second car-- to drive in the winter when salt on the ground. Here are some requirements: 1) Convertible 2) Safe (my kid will get behind the wheel at some point) 3) Stick 4) Decent in the snow 5) Used-- about $25K Anybody have any suggestions??by kosiba - Main Forum

Bad week for my tires. Kuhmo Ecsta ASX tires, last weekend, the back left tire (1 year old, maybe 6K miles on them) is low in air, and I assume a slow leak. I take tire off and it is shredded on the inside. Go to Tire Rack and order two rear tires yesterday. Bummer. Then this morning, I see the following little bulge in the front tire. So my question is: is this tire ruined too?by kosiba - Main Forum
Come to think of it, isn't it funny that Porsche decided to put in glass rear windows? Ever hear of the plastic cracking? Ever wonder why?by kosiba - Main Forum
But top down should help the air conditioners run easier. When the buildup of cabin pressure gets too high, the fans have to push harder and harder. Also, if you drive too long with the fans (especially the defroster) going full-bore, it could increase the pressure in the cabin so the tops may "pop" and buckle. I'd expect that would be expensive to fix. Best practice is to crack the windowsby kosiba - Main Forum
That is a bunch of BS, AS2003. How can you get fewer MPG when the top is down!?! Clearly the top weighs 30-50 pounds, and when you remove that extra weight with the top down your mileage would go UP, not down.by kosiba - Main Forum
I have a 2000 s, and will try and post pictures of the top I had installed last summer. I forget the brand. But other than getting used to the smaller window the glass is pretty cool. Looks nice too.by kosiba - Main Forum
I typically get 42 on the highway with top up, 37 with windstop (consistent 5MPG improvement), 26 without. But I have one of those cool mpg devices:by kosiba - Main Forum
