Even next to the mighty 991TT the 986 looks amazingby Frissen - Main Forum
post pics of your Boxster and give us an opinion what you think is best of your own Boxster... all models, be gentle, lets keep this thread civilized and fun... I personally love the real Porsche feel the Boxster brings, the engine being so close to the backseat is an awesome feel, handling is superb and to me reliabilty has been good... After 15 years I enjoy getting into my 986 everytime andby Frissen - Main Forum
Laz, to me the Lagaay design interior is a work of art, really, and it is obviously lost in the 987, now on the 981 is thanks to an excersice called Panamera that it gets a good interior but the 986 interior is simply epic imoby Frissen - Main Forum
I think the 981 got many of the issues I have always complained about resolved, like its own doors that integrate to the lines of the body, still with a borrowed door from the 996 the 986 does a good job integrating magnificent lines...by Frissen - Main Forum
Call me crazy... And I know this will bring lots of controversy, but I like the 986 more than the 987 now that both are older models...by Frissen - Main Forum

Wow! Pirelli is not a tire in my radar, Michelin is my tire of choice but if price is a matter at that moment I look at Toyo and in Mexico due to distribution Hankook. As far as Pirelli becoming chinese will only bring cheaper tires at todays quality and mybe even better in the future, Chinese main concern most likely be to absorb their technology for local consumption in the way of other localby Frissen - Main Forum

QuotePedro (Weston, FL) Thanks for the update. We have missed your excellent Track Days reports. Happy Boxstering Pedro. I have not done any reports lately... Its been rough for me, 12 hour days in the office and so much crap... That now when I get to do an event I worry about enjoying it more that reporting itby Frissen - Main Forum
QuoteRoger987 A divorce that damages your car's suspension is probably also very hard on your head... A divorce that won't let you repair it :/by Frissen - Main Forum
Its been a long time... Yes I am still driving my Y2K 2.7... Now sporting a full new suspension full of tricks, back to "17s and Michelin Cups as my street set up... Its rough to be driving such a low and stiff Porsche on Mexican roads as I have zero clearance But after 18 months of having the car in storage after suspension damage due to the excellent roads we have down here and rough divorby Frissen - Main Forum
Hello my Boxster friends and Pedro, long time no post, basically I have moved to Facebook reason why I invite you to join our "group" where we post stuff within Mexico and sometimes the World. You are welcome to post and can do it in English if you prefer, no problem, we will be more tan happy to see your Boxsters and comment on them, and by no means this is not to take from the best Boxsterby Frissen - Main Forum
thanks Pedro for the input... I will e-mail for more details because I'm stuck here in Puebla and not many people to ask what I need to buy... this is how it looks nowby Frissen - Main Forum
Its 44k miles. Well I ran the M030 pretty hard and with the damaged components I thought on going for coilovers instead of repurchasing the same suspension. The damage was cause by debris from a load truck I'm looking into Tarret as wellby Frissen - Main Forum
thanks to the terrible road and driving conditions down here in central Mexico my M030 euro spec suspension has been seriously damaged... this is how my beloved 986 sat before the incident... now I have two damaged shocks, shock mounts and wheels... so i need some replacement parts, and here is where everyoune who can help on the boards comes in... I checked the rack and the PSS9 might do theby Frissen - Main Forum
