Love the color of your car!by r9i8c7k - Main Forum
I have noticed over the years that, occasionally, when I slowly decelerate and hold the clutch down to the floor I get a flicker of "Oil Pressure too Low". It goes away quickly and leaves no error code. I took it to Porsche once and they could not conclude anything. Any ideas?by r9i8c7k - Main Forum

Hello to All...I flushed the brake fluid last night and I am interested in your feedback. When I tested the used brake fluid it came out to 4% H2O and the spent fluid seemed darker in color than previous flushes. Everything is fine with braking but I wanted your inputs on what would cause higher than normal water content and darker discoloration . I have been putting more miles on the car latelyby r9i8c7k - Main Forum

My 987S hit ten years old and 150K miles the other day. Still running like a dream. Every switch, button, latch & etc all working perfectly. To "Baby" my car I have reduced the oil change cycle from 12K to 9K. I thought I would list the non regular maintenance work done on the car. 68K - convertible top side arm replaced 102K - AOS replaced 118k - new clutch 123K - new engine mounby r9i8c7k - Main Forum

Thanks for the tiptronic info...it seemed quicker than previous tiptonics I have driven..by r9i8c7k - Main Forum
After 118,000 miles the clutch was "slipping" so I had it replaced. The car is shifting like "butter" again. If I do not look at the odometer, I swear, this car drives like the day I bought it. I was given a base Cayenne as a "loaner" car. I got to drive it for five days and put almost 500 miles on it. My impressions... - Overall, it was a blast. It put the Porsche "permagrin" on my face constby r9i8c7k - Main Forum

The Escort Max 360 has worked great for me and it has the arrow for direction. It saved me just yesterday. I was in my C7 and a CHP on the side of the road pinged my car 3 times in a row. He wanted me bad...no dice...the Max 360 chirped.by r9i8c7k - Main Forum
BTW...on the day of my event Ellen Degeneres was there filming for her TV show...it was amazing how many people work behind the scenes of her show with cameras & etc. They even had two drones in the air following her in the cars she rode in as a passenger. At the end of the episode (which will be upcoming) she appears to get in a 911 Turbo and speed off; a male stunt double in a blonde wig taby r9i8c7k - Main Forum
I gave the 911 the edge as a street car for three main reasons; gear box, traction, and while the GT4 seats are awesome at the track I would not want to be getting in and out of them on frequent basis. Having said this...it still would be a blast as a street car. "How does the 911's ride comfort compare to that of your 987?" - the 911's ride comfort is very, very nice...2X better than my 987...by r9i8c7k - Main Forum
More impressions of each car... GT4 - absolutely no brake fade, spot on steering, seats that fit like a glove, more leg room than my 987, nice exhaust note, excellent acceleration, very good steering wheel, I do prefer the 987 lower stick position though, I did find 2nd gear tricky at times down shifting, I did not like the door straps, forget about driving on wet or slick surfaces with summer tby r9i8c7k - Main Forum
I had a great time driving the Cayman GT4 and 911 Carrera while taking the "Master the Manual" program. One word to describe the GT4 is "glue". That car sticks to the track. I was surprised at how feather light the 911 clutch pedal was. My favorite car of the day...is the one I drove home in.by r9i8c7k - Main Forum
My wife and I have been very surprised about the reaction the car gets. Sometimes it feels and sounds like mosquitoes (Honda Civics, STIs, & etc.) are chasing the C7.by r9i8c7k - Main Forum
