Hi Mike, Sorry you had this problem. What shop do you use? I live in KW also.by Tweety - Main Forum
My early 2013 has similar symptoms. I still get close to 15v shortly after start up, but it drops to 13.8 within 5-10 minutes or so. I normally drive not using sport or sport+ unless I drive aggressively and notice that putting it in sport bumps the voltage up immediately.by Tweety - Main Forum
My 981 Boxster is a late 2012 build and has 57,000km. The car is showing symptoms similar to Guenter in that it occasionly shows voltages of 14.8 to 15v, and then drops back after some time to 13+/- while cruising. It started doing this last fall. I don't normally use auto stop, and store it for the winter on a maintainer. My gut instinct is to keep driving and just keep an eye on it. Auto sby Tweety - Main Forum
Geunter, There is no argument that driving a manual is a more engaging tactile experience, but new technology arrives and changes things up. So air cooled cars, manual steering and brakes without ABS or boost, are gone for most of us, but we still enjoy the sounds, acceleration, and and wind in our faces of driving our sports cars whether pdk or manual. We are fortunate to be able to drive thby Tweety - Main Forum

Beautiful car! I am not a fan of the brute force approach to things, but that car is stunning.by Tweety - Main Forum

And we all complain about the 718's exhaust sound.by Tweety - Main Forum
Great photos Guenter! Jackie and I were signed up for that run but had to drop out some time ago because of a conflict. Just my luck, because all the other runs we were on this year had poor weather and this one was perfect. The poor weather is coming now and we are driving Tweety to Florida for the winter on November 2nd.by Tweety - Main Forum
Pretty strong review. Everything seems great except the sound. I followed one recently on the road and it does sound very different.by Tweety - Main Forum
QuoteGuenter in Ontario Gently remove cover, remove 23 lb from tires, disconnect from life support, remove key from pocket. 4 month of waiting almost over. Open door, slide into drivers seat, look over that beautiful dash, glance over those purposeful front fenders. Savour the moment. Slide key into ignition with left hand, depress clutch, foot on brake, turn key to first stop and the instrumentsby Tweety - Main Forum
About the same odds as me getting a royal flush at the casino the other day (which I did).by Tweety - Main Forum
QuoteGuenter in Ontario The 981 doesn't have a center radiator. It's just a cut out and "plug". I just prefer the look of the lower plate. It seems a little less noticeable than the factory supplied mount. If I had my "druthers", I would leave off the front plate. Nice photos! I drove about ten years without a front plate with my Miata, but finally gave up after a couple of warnings and which lby Tweety - Main Forum
This is the best time of year to drive top down in Ontario!by Tweety - Main Forum

Hi Chris. A fun run would be great! Are there any other people on this board who live near Kitchener, Waterloo or Cambridge?by Tweety - Main Forum
Thanks. Yellow wasn't my first choice, but I really like it now.by Tweety - Main Forum
