My 18 year old boxster is now sporting a new convertible top. No more tape on the ripped plastic window!by kgribbon - Main Forum
I picked up my car from the shop after having some work done (catalytic converter, air-oil separator, oil service) and the service manager said mine was the highest mileage Boxster he's seen. I know there are people on this board with more than mine - 2000 Speed Yellow - 173K Miles, original owner, no IMS replacement (knock on wood), original clutch and daily driver for 17 years.by kgribbon - Main Forum
To clarify my question - SHOULD I have one of the fixes installed?by kgribbon - Main Forum
Hi all, I need some wisdom. I have owned my 2000 Boxster (daily driver) since new and now have 153K miles on the car. Still have the original clutch and had an RMS leak that was repaired at about 40K miles. I plan to keep the car. The questions are: Do I have one of the IMS "fixes" installed? Which one of the solutions out there is recommended? Thanks, Kevinby kgribbon - Main Forum
When cleaning the interior of my car this weekend, I noticed thin foam blocking the driver and center air vents. The foam was relatively thin and black on one side. Any ideas what may have happened here and where this foam came from? Car is a 2000 Base Boxster 2.7 with 101K miles.by kgribbon - Main Forum
