Jeff, I just went through this. I had a P0430 on an 01'S I recently bought. The P0430 meant low efficiency on the primary cat, driver side. While under the car, I noticed the O2 sensor (pre-cat) had been changed recently. So I guess that the bad O2 sensor made the engine run rich, which destroyed the cat. On my car, the cat was really bad. When I removed it, it was almost empty. The cell mesh iby tabasco - Main Forum
