The Trent!! Wow - he was hilarious. The photos of him with his hot girlfriends! I am meeting Macsak here in Atlanta for dinner today! He's here from Hawaii for a conference. I sent some PMs to some people on Facebook but should have also posted here.by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum

Quotefrogster It's really hard to believe that it has been 10 years. I remember the day it happened very well. A very sad day indeed. I couldn't believe it was true. i still think about the day that i "applied" for the "job" of moderator on that board because since I was living in switzerland at the time and was six hours ahead of the east coasters, i would see all this spam on the site first thiby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
QuoteKarl from So. Carolina That was truly a sad, sad time. Last Saturday, I went back to Green Park Inn in Blowing Rock, site of BRBS III. I sat in a rocking chair on the expansive porch and fondly remembered rocking with Chuck and Cecil at that same spot back in 2001. I then checked the gallery from BRBS I and saw this photo of those two. Chuck was a humble man who created an amazing onlinby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
Didn't go for the flat-six... pricey! Went from a Subaru Forester to a Subaru Outback - both great cars but especially love the Outback!! How great to see so many old friends here!!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I've reached out to both Christian and SBD (I don't know if Christian ever participated in these boards)... am hoping they can contact Andre, Kevin H, Scott W. Looking so forward to seeing everyone!!!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I think about you all often! Such great memories of fine friends and good times.by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I see lots of the same old friends here and many new contributors. I think of many of you often! All's well here. Although I no longer drive a Boxster (or anything much any more), my memories of PPBB and Pedrosboard stay with me and I miss you all! Driving a new Subaru Outback which I love, but think often of each of my Boxsters and my one Cayman S... need to check in more often for pics and updby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
Last week I traded in my 2010 Boxster for a Subaru Forester. Had it less than a year! The reason (which may have been apparent to BRBSers) is that I have a spinal cord injury and, even though using the clutch was fine, getting in and out of the Boxster was becoming increasingly difficult. I really need good visibility as well - The good news is that I truly love the Forester. It's a fun car andby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I've been a sports car fanatic since I was a little kid (MGs, Triumphs, Jags). When the Boxster was introduced in '97, I never thought I would have one even though I loved it. My soon-to-be husband decided I should make it a reality in 2000 and I purchased my first Boxster. It was an '00 Biarritz White with blue top and interior - absolutely fantastic machine. Long story short, I then had a 2002by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
Quotejg atl Until they moved them to Atlanta Motor Speedway which is way too far to drive for 5 minutes of run time. When they move the AX's back to civilization, I'll run some more. I have been planning to do some SCCA AX, but just havent' gotten around to it.I enjoyed the SCCA ones more than PCA. Are they still doing them at Turner Field? That's 2 miles from where I live. I don't think I'd doby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
QuoteGuenter in Ontario With a beautiful, warm evening yesterday, a group of us decided to take a short hotdog run to one of our favourite places by Lake Erie, a short 60 miles away. As we returned to our cars, we couldn't help but notice that these smart phones were busy. That reminded me about just how lucky we are to be driving one of these cars.by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
There was a friend on ppbb who trashed his GT3 on Road Atlanta... He was fine, but we never heard from him again afterwards. As far as I know, he still has his RUF Boxster (I'm pretty sure it was a Biarritz white 2000 - pre-S)by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
Only time I had a problem was the Snowpacolypse of Atlanta this past Winter. I had to ditch the car in a parking lot as I couldn't get up the hill. It's fun to look forward to driving it to work and then home!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
