Hey Carlos, aren't you coming down with the CAN AM Caravan this year? Heading down a day earlier just to clean out the Boxster Bar before we get there, eh?by Guenter in Ontario - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)

be late! Carlos, are you hungry already? I know, I can't wait either. We still have to iron out all the detals for the CAN-AM Caravan, but don't you worry, we're not going to let you have ALL the food to yourself. We'll be around and you'll have to share.by Guenter in Ontario - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)
He really was a gentle, cheerful guy who greeted everyone with a welcoming smile. We're going to miss him at BRBS.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
QuoteAlcantera I called my buddy and gave him the thumbs up. I just heard of another guy our age who passed away suddenly. Life's too short. I have been promised a day with the car next time i visit. Dave, just make sure your buddy doesn't have you sitting in the passenger seat.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
I agree it's a great video. He does seem to have a hard time deciding which side of the road he should drive on.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum

I agree with Mike. I'd check the fine print carefully. I don't think that the $3700 covers an additional 6 years, I believe it would cover additional coverage up to six years. (i.e. 4 years of original warranty + 2 years of additional warranty = 6 years.) So coverage would end at 3/31, 2013 in this case. If I could get the same as original warranty for six additional years (until my cars is 10by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Quotedennisafrompa Well maybe not a video, but we do plan the photo the car on parts of the chase route. As Mary says, "car guys, what are you gonna do???" Hey, a guy is lucky when he finds a good woman who accepts him for what he is. She's a keeper. PS, I'm lucky that way too.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Quotedennisafrompa Brett, we're leaving tomorrow. Heading North to visit an old AF buddy in SF, then unfortunately, home. We are finding leaving the desert gets harder each year. Seriously considering relocation. Ah ha! Dennis, after that meeting with Chad, I figured you'd find some reason to head up for the drive through the streets of San Fran. You will be posting a video, right?by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum

QuoteBoxsterBob - San Carlos At least it beat the Prius... wtf? I don't think the cars were in any particular ranking. I imagine that you did read the text that went along with the Prius choice. Taking that into account, it does make a sweet "sound" - less katching of registers, less hearing the pumps and almost silence as it ..ah, ...hummms.. along. To some those are all beautiful sounds. I know it seemed to take fooooooooooooooor eeeeeeeeeever while the salesman went over all the controls and features with me. (Hey, I had a whole month to study the manual before I picked the CURVEN8R up. ) That drive home. It was soooooooooooo hard to watch the tach approach 4200 RPM and have to back the right foot off. I knew just how much the whole orchestra REALLY wanted to burst into a fuby Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum

close my eyes while reading about your first encounter with your Boxster. Love that account.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
you laid eyes on your Boxster? For me it was 5 years ago. It had just arrived at the dealer. The salesman gave me a call to let me know it had arrived and I just had to go and see it. I made the 120 mile round trip every Saturday for the month of March until I picked it up at the beginning of April. Got pictures of the first time you fired your baby up? Here's mine. Won't be long now until I fby Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
A few Boxster curves. Boxster Road curves at the Hawks Nest.near Port Jervis, NY The total package.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
I agree with you 100%, Dan. It's amazing the clouds of salt dust when the roads are dry. Besides. The Boxster is a roadster. IT's meant to be driven topless. It's the only way to go. Even being used to Canadian Winters, that just look a tad cold for topless driving. tp matter how good your bun warmers and heater are..by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum

Looks similar to what happened here, except it was a car instead of an 18 wheeler. Guy drifted off onto the right shoulder, then lost control - probably over correcting while hanging up his cell phone. Then skidded across both lanes and across the median. I was able to accellerate just past it and got away with just a couple of stone chips. Makes you appreciate those median barriers. Tired and/oby Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum

Gas took a jump in prices here today. Gas companies were probably reading our gas price thread and thought they'd help us get over that $5 mark. 87 @ $1.202/L = $4.56/gal 89 @ $1.292/L = $4.90/gal 91 @ $1.352/L = $5.12/gal 94 @ $1.382/L = $5.24/gal Tried take a picture of the sign, but the big numbers didn't fit into the camera.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
