On my 2007 Boxster I got tired of plugging and unplugging the GPS, Radar Detector and or my phone charger for the internal plugs, so I installed a charger plug from battery Positive terminal and car ground to and external charger plug. Easy-peasy.by carlos in Montreal - Main Forum
Check your voltage it should be at least 12.4V. Under this it may not have all the power needed to start the car but enough to light up the dash. A fully charged battery should read > 12.6 volts. A charging system that is operating normally should produce about 13.8 to 14.3 or more. Battery Voltage and State of Charge: 12.66v . . . . . . . . . . 100% 12.45v . . . . . . . . . . 75% 12.24vby carlos in Montreal - Main Forum

I had the same issue. It was going on for quite some time. It was a very very small leak at the water pump gasket. My Indy called it "sweating". The heat and cold will contract the metal and if your gasket is not perfect it can sweat. In my case it when on for 3 years until I changed the water pump.by carlos in Montreal - Main Forum

The CTEK US3300 works great for me since 2007. Just lately my brother in law drained his battery by accident and he tried to recharge it with his Black & Deck "maintainer" ... no luck. So I plugged my The CTEK US3300 overnight and presto recharged battery.by carlos in Montreal - Main Forum
