Hi, Is there a difference between European stand suspension vs US standard suspension? Mikeby BLKBOXS - Main Forum
When the 718 NA 6 or 7 speed manual 4.0 LTR Spyder is released, will there be a limited quantity made or will the demand dictate the production run? Is there any way we can get Porsche to release it on the configurator a few years early so I can have fun again...no fun building the available Boxster models as I have to shut off my speakers.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum

After reading a recent post on another site I went out this morning and checked my convertible top Ball joints...guess what... the passenger side was broken the arm was just lying there unless. I am surprised the drivers side can handle all that stress for gosh knows how long.. I order them though the link on the other boards thread for the plastic ball that screws on the end of the arm. That is Great news. Can't wait to play with the configurator...its has been very boring since the 718's came out...not that there is anything wrong with the 718 based on what I have been "hearing"by BLKBOXS - Main Forum

I bought my 2006 Boxster S from a Porsche in New Port Beach Cal. and shipped it up to Southern Ontario in 2010. My query is: In Ontario we have a drive clean system that checks to our emission stds and my results are: (for the last 3 times) HC ppm: 3 .(.limit 58) CO%: 0 (limit .32) NO ppm 0 (limit 435) Is the California cars detuned to reach the above stated emission results?? and if so anyby BLKBOXS - Main Forum
On Saturday I ventured to the Dealer to see the 718. Boy oh Boy the salesmen just love it. What an improvement...power, the ride, new chiseled quarter panels. Looks like they listened to Guenter in regards to the back screen... Nice brake enhancements to stop all that extra power...said the salesmen..by BLKBOXS - Main Forum

QuoteGuenter in Ontario The Boxster has always been a fabulous car to drive. Now it's a fabulous car, but... ...and I hope they're right, and I believe they are - that Porsche will continue to bring out special models, like the Spyder and GT4 with NA engines. What a great article...Thanks for sharing.....come on NA special models.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
My rears are soon running out soul. Is it OK if I buy the Super Sports and keep P/S on the front as they have 50% left or should I buy the same rears and change to the super sports when all 4 wear out at the same time? Thanksby BLKBOXS - Main Forum
I heard that the next Spyder as a 718 model will be a NA 3.8 LTR. It will be introduced as a 2019 model. Porsche will always cause new dramas until the model runs its course of criticism and/or praise.....then WHAM.... 718 Spyder.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum

Beautiful Car. Well done sdm100. I love to see some interior pics when you get a moment. The new spyder took over the 2012 987s Black Edition as my favorite Boxster. I am planning on getting one of those as soon as my wife agreesby BLKBOXS - Main Forum

If you press main and trip at the same time it will tell you what s/w version you have and possibly error messages. Follow the menus when you are in this mode. I might help...or not. Good luck. Mikeby BLKBOXS - Main Forum

Quotetomt73 I have a 2007 3.4L Cayman S. My mechanic tells me that the IMS bearing can only be reached by splitting the case, which seems to me to preclude any (relatively) inexpensive replacement of the IMS bearing or installation of a Direct Oil Feed kit. Is that correct? Thoughts and comments from any of Pedro's staff or members are welcome. 2007 987S... are you getting nasty's in your oil fiby BLKBOXS - Main Forum
I was at the Indy for my season end oil change and found.... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but Oil and Filter- good for another season of driving it like I stole it.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
