From the Owner's Manual:

[b]If the level gauge warning light flashes,[/b]

there has been a system fault. Additionally, a warning is displayed in the onon-board computer. There will then be no reserve warning.

To remedy the fault, go to an authorized Porsche dealer.

It looks like you'll at least have to have a PST2/PIWIS/Durametric check for a code.
